Authenticity

Authenticity

When the Cadbury family built Bournville in the late 1800’s – that was authentic. When Steve Jobs invited us to “Think Differently” in 1997 – that was authentic. When Nike put Colin Kaepernick front and centre in 2017 – that was authentic.

How authentic are you?

Are you doing what you believe and maybe more importantly, do you believe what you do? My friend Roger loves the Jeff Bezos quote about brand where he says that your brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room. What are people saying about you when you’re not in the room?

Are your actions aligned to your words…. because you know which speaks louder.

We’re living in the age of transparency, there is no place to hide.

Is there truth at the heart of your story and are your actions telling that story?

Do you know your story?
